GEF Begins
Global Education Facilitators evolved from a company providing education and professional training services. Hence the name.
We then grew to fill a niche in the translation industry, but we kept our original name that reflects our commitment to knowledge and helping others to understand each other.
We were sure it was possible to provide translation services to multinational companies on a large scale but with the customer service and personal touch of a small agency.
Thus, in 2001, we set out on a mission to establish a 24/7 international translation agency.
Our beginnings were humble, as a small office in Illinois was as “global” as we got.
Fast Forward 20 Years
We are an international translation agency, with offices in six countries and over 700 language specialists in our network.
Every month, millions of words fly through our offices, with projects criss-crossing the world between our talented translators, proofreaders, and project managers.
We know that time is precious. That is why we never close. Somewhere around the world, our team will always be working hard on your translation project.
